Automatic renewal of network config through DHCP

Since I did an upgrade to dapper (I know it is still beta!), my dhcp client doesn't automatically renew my ip-config anymore. Any of you know what this could be?

It does request (and get) a ip when /etc/init.d/networking is run, but after about half an hour, it does not renew and the address is released. Therefore, my internet is disconnected every half an hour .

tnx,
elluva

find where your 'lease' settings are and make them to whatever you want (depending on how long you keep your machine up..you could set it for hours, days, weeks, etc).
