ati driver, how to uninstall


I would like to uninstall the ATI driver but is it possible?

Hya,

If you have ati (www.ati.amd.com) driver, it is possible. Read https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206...t711-inst.html
and look for uninstall.

Which distro are you running? If you are in Ubuntu Gutsy, you should be able to go to System/Administration/Restricted Drivers Manager and do it from there.

Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty. I had installed ATI 8.40.x driver myself and was able to uninstall it. Thanks kaz2100.
Looks like it solved my problem.
