ASK - All about window_id in ubuntu (8.10)
Greetings everyone,
I would like to ask various things about window_id in Ubuntu. I've known how to use two command from ubuntu :
- xwininfo -> to get window id from one window in Desktop.
- xdotool -> to to call window in the desktop with various input
from fake keyboard.
I've seen vb6 program, that can capture anything in a window (menu, text, etc.) with knowing only the handle (got that handle from vb6 support program 'spy++').
what i would like to ask, does anyone know how to get data from one window (title, text, etc)? the way that i know is through window_id. (like in windows, if we know the handle of one window, we'll know all about that window (title, text, etc.)), but i don't know how to get window's data from ubuntu with that way. anyone knows? or maybe another way?
Thanks!
