Question apt-get: command not found on ubuntu 12.04 64bit

Hi All,

I need to install some packages using apt-get.. but it says.

apt-get install vim
apt-get: command not found


I am using ubuntu 12.04 / 64 bit.

Any suggesion how to install apt-get ?

Downloaded apt_0.9.7.9+deb7u1_amd64.deb and installed.
