[SOLVED] Applications Menu

So, I've removed via Synaptic, a program.
however, it is still listed in the start -> Applications - sub menu - program name.

Synaptic does say that it is not installed.

where is the program <name> listing still being kept?.
so that I can delete the program <name> from the Applications menu list?.

there's gotta be a file of some sort that I can edit / delete to remove the program <name>

Right click → Edit Menus doesn't help?

Right click - that's it !.

but on the 'title' applications, & not on the sub-menu. ...

Of course. Or you can do Alt+F2 and enter 'alacarte', then Enter. Alacarte is Gnome menu editor.
