secretservgy Member Registered: Jul 2006 Location: New York, USA Distribution: kUbuntu 12.04.1 LTS, Debian, Whiite-Linux Posts: 50 Rep:	Apple PPC G3 White Screen w/ firmware? I just aquired a Ubuntu dapper PPC disk, which i want to use on my imac. The problem is, when i boot up, after i press enter, a white screen comes up showing Apple Firmware, at the top of screen it also says "Cant allocate inital device-tree chunk". I find this odd becuase my live Debian and my live Xubuntu cds work (with the exception of X working, X dosnt want to run on either distro on that computer). Please help asap, thanks.
