Hey, im using the Ubuntu 6.06 live cd. I want to install Apache on my USB drive but im having some trouble installing it.
I unmounted and formatted my USB stick. When i give the command df -h i see the following:
Quote:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
unionfs 1.6G 834M 709M 55% /
varrun 1014M 84K 1014M 1% /var/run
varlock 1014M 4.0K 1014M 1% /var/lock
udev 1014M 124K 1014M 1% /dev
devshm 1014M 0 1014M 0% /dev/shm
lrm 1014M 8.8M 1005M 1% /lib/modules/2.6.15-26-386/volatile
tmpfs 1014M 44K 1014M 1% /tmp
/dev/sda2 127G 47G 80G 37% /tmp/disks-conf-sda2
|
So the path to install Apache is '/tmp/disks-conf-sda2'.
I used the following command to configure Apache, but im getting an error that the file system is read-only.
Quote:
./configure --prefix=/tmp/disks-conf-sda2 \
--enable-so \
--enable-cgi \
--enable-info \
--enable-rewrite \
--enable-speling \
--enable-usertrack \
--enable-deflate \
--enable-ssl \
--enable-mime-magic

Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong...
