Adobe Flash on dpreview.com (crashed).

Tried to upload a photo in contest and Adobe Flash "crashed."

I did a clean install yesterday and only have firefox on my system. Is Flash even on my system as it is pretty much a dinosaur - ?

I see that Ubuntu restricted extras isn't in the software center anymore either.

which flash version?
i think the version shipped with most distros, and used by firefox by default, is pretty ancient.
i heard many people simply copy the newest version to some /usr/lib/firefox directory, and it works a treat.
or use chromium, it has its own flash built in.
