Adept install problem (KUbuntu)

I'm trying to install monodevelop and kdevelop on my machine but each time I get the notification that I can not install as I would then break other packages. Now I don't really care about breaking the packages so who can tell me how to turn this off?

Are you using Kynaptic or apt-get?

Please also post the error you are getting.

Sorry that it took so long (bad i-net connection)

I am using Adept which came standard in the latest package.

The exact error is:
when I try to install a package I click on the install button, behind action it then says BREAK(install), when I click on commit changes I get the message:

There was an error commiting changes. Possibly there was a problem donwloading some packages or the commit would break packages.
