It should be in /media/

so you'll want "cd /media/hd<driveletter><partitionnumber>".
If the drive isn't mounted by default, you'll have to run "mount /dev/hd<driveletter><partitionnumber>", and if it isnt in /etc/fstab, then you'll have to run "mkdir /media/hd<driveletter><partitionnumber>" and then "mount /dev/hd<driveletter><partitionnumber> /media/hd<driveletter><partitionnumber> -t ntfs" (assuming it's an ntfs drive)

Hi, you can not write into NTFS partition unless you have nfts-3g installed. Follow this tutorial

Just a word of caution, though.
No matter what tool you use to write to an NTFS partition, it is still very, very risky to do this.
The only safe thing you can do with a partition like this is to read it.

By the way, why are you using the command line to do this when you could do this graphically, via nautilus/konquerer?
Why make life hard for yourself when you don't have to?!
