7.04 Problems
I was pretty exited to install 7.04 but it has a lot of problems.
Fixing them all would take to long, and every few more minutes I use it i just keep findng more. I was wondering if anyone new a simple way to get the old version back.

I was thinking about that, but I don't have anything big enough to store all of my files. I try to use apt-get in the terminal, but it wouldn't install the other version because my current one is newer.
I have an 6.10 CD (the version I would like to get back to) if there is a way to downgrade it from that.

Create a data partition and copy your /home there. Clean install 6.10 and copy /home back.

Alright, I downloaded a 7.04 iso and installed a clean copy.
I installed a NVIDIA driver because it was running a little slow, and when I restarted X server, the cursor disappeared!
Is there anything that I might be able to do to make the cursor show?

There's an astounding number of modules and configuration files involved in a Linux boot up. Items accessed in the earliest stages of a boot up don't fully take effect until the next cold start. There are even items that don't change until after a full power cycle. Shutdown isn't always enough. I follow shutdown with a switch to off on my power strip.
