6.06 liveCD installer funnies

(Yes--I searched.. )
I downloaded the LiveCD version of 6.06 (x386)

Regardless of the setting of the video resolution (the "F4" command in the opening screen), the live linux comes up in 640X480 mode. No problem per se, but when running "Install", the pages are clipped at the bottom and you cannot get to the control buttons.

I'm going back to get the "alternate" CD with the old-fashioned installer. Meanwhile, am I the only one who has had the above issue?

Besides video resolution settings, you might see if they have a driver option and specify that it use VESA. I haven't tried out that particular installer to know what options are available...
