Question [(X)ubuntu] Is it possible to run root-tail with XFCE 4.3.99.1 (BETA 2)?

I just wanted to know if it was possible, or if there was a workaround, or if Eterm can make colored tail commands? I'm currently using a transparent Eterm buuuut it's not the same xD anybody knows?

Thanks in advance
