Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 7, is currently shipping with a potentially serious defect. Ahead of the product's global launch on Thursday, Germany's federal IT security agency (BSI) has issued a warning about a high-risk vulnerability in the SMB2 protocol. This can be exploited over the network to shut down a computer with a Denial of Service (DoS) attack.

I am just waiting for the day ( i am NOT holding my breath) when they DO do something right .

they seam to shoot them selves in the foot SO MANY times that MS should not have any feet left to shoot. But they STILL manage to do just that.

The SMB2 exploit has been around for a little while and is not just a windows 7 issue. Not a big deal really as it will be patched with an update.

I never did like the Idea that some one would charge me for an operating system that has problems . Just give me your
money an I will fix it later this stupidity goes back to far.
