Forget the OS wars, Apple and Microsoft do not need to wield any weapons today. Linux seems to be doing a good enough job of shooting itself in the foot when it comes to appealing to your average PC user.

He's mostly correct about distributions such as Slackware or Gentoo. I think a lot of his arguments are unfounded when applied to something like SuSE or Ubuntu though.

Still....it made for an amusing read. 90% of his complaints are reasons I love using slackware on my desktop.
