I found Linux in 1994 - ZipSlack, then RedHat & Debian - went full time Linux in 1999.

Yes, I'm a man with a beard :) - but I also appreciate the ease of installation & maintenance we now have - but still use the command line in preference to searching out an equivalent GUI program. ;)

(Still using Debian based distros today.)

I was 12 in September 1991, when the initial release of the Linux kernel took place. I was using the Atari 1040ST for gaming, and arguably in a simpler and happier place.
