Ubuntu MATE leader Martin Wimpress announced today the general availability of the Ubuntu MATE 18.04.2 LTS (Bionic Beaver) and Ubuntu 19.04 Beta (Disco Dingo) operating systems for the tiny GPD Pocket and GPD Pocket 2 computers.

Works perfectly out of the box

The problem I had with XUbuntu was that although I could rotate the screen, the touch screen facility was not rotated!

Warning for anyone who anyone who has a GPD Pocket 2 - don't let the battery go completely flat
