To me, the article seems fine. It is only natural for businesses to cater to the larger market share, and for servers, it is Linux--something many companies are just now starting to realize. The reality is that the "killer app" for Linux was and is Apache. The other stuff like OpenOffice is fine, but it is Apache that historically did the heavy lifting.
