LXer: The number of pay TV subscribers drops as Dish launches Sling TV

I dumped cable TV years ago, and Iíve never missed it. Itís expensive, and itís filled with a zillion channels of garbage that I never had any interest in watching anyway. Apparently Iím not alone because an article in the Mercury News notes that the number of pay TV subscribers dropped in 2013, for the first time ever.
