I tried it and was not impressed. My internet connection is not recognized during the initial bootup; so, I usually can just run pppoeconf (which I did with the alpha release, which gave me an internet connection). In this beta release, however, pppoeconf had not been installed -- I can't even imagine what inspired Symphony to not include this. Also, hardware detection was terrible.
They should go back to using Knoppix as their base, and not Debian testing/unstable.
