Prices have risen steeply, I bought a pre used Lenovo Thinkpad for £60 about 2 years ago, now they want around £150(!) - just make sure the price is right for you.

If you want a small simple computer, for basic tasks, take a look at a brand new Raspberry Pi, (especially the 400 & 4B models), at a much lower price.
