During the time when so many Linux distributions throw everything and the kitchen sink into a DVD, it's nice to use a product like Damn Small Linux where the focus is on keeping the system compact. if you use it as a booting live linux system without the need for saving of system "states" then you dont need to be familiar with any other linux ... in fact i dont even know its a debian thing ... i'm more amused at their default filemanager(or did they include any other ?? i dont even need to know) and the control panel thing ...
