I mentioned Linux, which has a few advantages. Windows as you are familiar with, is susceptible to infections by malware (viruses, adware, spyware, etc.), whereas Linux is practically invulnerable to infection.

I like how Linux updates are fast. Does anyone know what windows does while configuring updates that makes it take so long?

Does anyone use any kind of security for their Linux desktop? Ever catch anything?
