Picasa for Linux is no Longer Supported by Google. Picasa for Linux is not a native Linux application anymore. But, for now Picasa will uses WINE which comes bundled with it (so the user doesn’t have to install WINE), though it does have some tweaks to make it integrate better with Linux. Something is very wrong here.

The UbuntuPortal version of this article, as you can see, is horribly written. However, the source article it got from webupd8 is fine. Since UbuntuPortal links to webupd8 as its source, one might conclude that the webupd8 article has been revised since UbuntuPortal got it... and not that UbuntuPortal used blackhat article-spinning SEO software to mess it up. But then the UbuntuPortal article below this one has also been obviously and intentionally altered from its source.

I don't think UbuntuPortal has good intentions, and I will never visit it again.
