The second testing release of Parsix GNU/Linux 5.0, code name 'Lombardo', is available now. This version ships with the GNOME 3.8.3 desktop environment and Linux kernel 3.8.13 built on top of the rock-solid Debian 'Wheezy' (7.0) platform. Most of the GNOME 3.8 packages have been upgraded to the latest versions and the look and feel is now complete. Also new updates from Debian 'Wheezy' repositories have been merged with the Parsix APT repositories. Updated packages: X.Org Server 1.12.4, GNU Iceweasel 21.0, Chromium 25.0, LibreOffice 3.5.4, glibc 2.13, GParted 0.12.1, Empathy 3.8.3, GIMP 2.8.2, Grisbi 0.8.9, VirtualBox 4.1.18, VLC 2.0.6, xFarDic 0.11.7.
