Well, it's finally happened. Microsoft has released a product containing its own Linux kernel: Azure Sphere. It's not MS-Linux or Linux Windows, but it's still remarkable. For the first time, Microsoft has released its own Linux kernel in a new Linux-based product: Azure Sphere.

Microsoft has announced that they will be releasing their own Linux based Operating System. That's right. Microsoft now has a Linux Distro of their very own. It will be focused on Internet of Things (IoT) type devices and called "Azure Sphere OS". I cover everything I've been able to find out about Microsoft's Linux OS -- which is mostly just creepy, non-technical information thus far.
