It isn't a Adobe Flash alternative until it runs the same things as the current version of Flash. Just like Gnash isn't a Flash alternatives.

The "related posts" second at the bottom of the page is one of most depressing things I've seen all week. Especially if you read the last 3 or 4 from top to bottom:

I for one encourage open source "alternatives" to replace proprietry stuff - Adobe Flash Player can go take a hike as far as I'm concerned. Better still, lets get HTML5 running on the web 100%.

I only use Flash player where its absolutely warranted, most of the time leaving it to HTML5 to deliver it to me. My preferential player order for video content on the web is,

HTML5
Lightspark/Gnash
Adobe Flash Player

Things will only change if we use other technologies, rather than Flash player. But, if you want to use Flash player I can't stop you.
