I see no reason to believe that Red Hat is working for the NSA ... other than this really paranoid guy who wrote this article.
It's true that it is possible, especially since they do distribute binaries. However, I don't see any reason to believe that they have been infiltrated or backdoors inserted. If you really wanna prove it, compile everything yourself from Red Hat or CentOS sources and see if the binaries match. If they don't, keep investigating.
