It would be nice if, somewhere, there was an explanation of how this magical software works. I'm very sceptical of somebody claiming to be able to do something so tough better than the people working on it within the Linux kernel.

This is the singular article on pandom, and it's urging people to install it.

If you're not an expert and willing to get your box owned up by installing random radioactive waste from the web, you should consider not replacing your distribution's random number generator, especially not this one.

:) Well said! I was attempting to be diplomatic but, reading your post, I agree that there is something very wrong here and it ought not to be trusted at all until verified.
Mind you, to my mind unless somebody like Mr Schneier is either involved or approves it it's probably either malicious or just rubbish.
