LXer: How Copyright Makes Culture Disappear

Published at LXer:

The very concept of intellectual property in all forms is an abhorent and destructive evil and the single greatest impediment to human advancement at this time. Those who promote and profit by it would be the worst of criminals in a sane society, for they not only rob your wallet, but your past and future and doom your children to an imminent dark existence.

By it, we have already made a near future dystopian dark age inevitable. Pass what knowledge and culture you can to your children, in durable and usable form, their world is a looming intellectual wasteland.

No hyperbole.
