Does anyone know any sites which take advantage of this new speediness?
I've not noticed any change in Firefox for years in browsing most sites I use.

I think they're hoping you imagine some increase, to justify their new release schedule.

I suspect you are correct. I'm a regular user of the Nightly build and I never notice any changes (apart from when the odd plugin fails).
