PC users seeking an environmentally friendly desktop system can add the new CherryPal C100 desktop to the list of contenders. The machine, announced Monday, was designed by green computer maker CherryPal and contains no moving parts. With 80 percent fewer components, the minimalist system uses a scant 2 watts of power.

I guarantee that my laptop uses less power. I am, of course, counting all the servers and routers and switches and whatnot that you need to go through to get to your data if you use one of these computers, because all your data is stored online.

It's kind of like saying I get a million miles to the gallon... When my car is riding on the flatbed of a semi.
