Oh, please.

The best desktop for running Linux is a desktop from a native Linux desktop vendor.

I voted for Zareason, because they let you pick your distro, but System 76 or ThinkPenguin would have been valid votes. There's also a European vendor that advertises on the Late Night Linux podcast that was not included in the poll, but I can't remember who they are because it's late and I'm tired.
