The distinctions being drawn seem bizarre and arbitrary to many customers who argue that data is data—I paid for it and should control what I use it on, not AT&T. It's even stranger because AT&T isn't targeting "video chat" apps with its restriction -- it is only targeting FaceTime. What is going on here?

I used to have cell phones about 20 years ago or more. They have always had a complex billing scheme designed to take money from the user.

I have not owned a cell phone for decades. Saved all that money and didn't crash my car either.

Southwestern Bell--er--Cingular--er--AT&T has always been--er--less than desirable.

That's why they keep changing their name.
