Maybe this comes with the kde3-i18n-zn_CN package?! Otherwise you may add this to the LC_LANG evironmental variable (type 'export LC_LANG=zh_CN.gb2312' in /etc/profile.local). Sorry, don't know much about it. What do you need it for?

A bit late answer, but better late than never.
gbk is an extension of gb2312 (or gb2312 is a subset of gbk). You can use it interchangeably.
