yast and repositories
hello,
i have suse 10 eval, i would like to open up my software amount and experiment a bit, so can you give me some repositories to try(or all of em lol).
As i will be doing this via yast2, instalation source then add ftp, http etc can you tell me what to add in the following :
server name and directory on server.

ok, but...
hello,
thanks for the links, but how do you actually add them ie when using installation source then add you get the http, ftp etc box....now what do i add in the actual dirictory name and directory on server boxes. I dont want to use console, so this is my chosen route. many thanks, steve.

just open change source> and then choose add> http for http urls and ftp for ftp urls then in the first line (add server) you have to add server name (ie for packman it is packman.iu-bremen) than in the second line add the directory (for packman it is /suse/10.0 ) and the same for every link. You see the server name is from //server name// directory). The directory must start with / directory /name/etc.

still no joy...
hello,
i am obviously having a bad day today as i still cant add the repo`s...so here is a plan.... Please can you type EXACTLY what is to be entered in the server and directory box, for each of the above repositories. That way it should work, and i will be able to copy/paste them in AND see and learn. Then i will be one step closer to becoming a rich linux guru, with flash cars/chicks/etc.........
