Wireless signal being dropped and/or not being picked up.


Hello, all.

I recently switched to openSUSE 11.2 and updated to 11.3 almost immediately. Everything appears to be working well, with the minor exception of my wireless.

I go to connect and one of two things will happen. Either it will hang in a constant loop of preparing to connect and then asking for the security key and then back to connecting. That or it will just not connect period.

I'm using a dell wireless 1397 mini-card.

maybe you can try with disabled encription or with other wi-fi manager like network-manager
are you using wi-cd now?
