Wireless connection

I have got a dual boot sys with Win xp and SUSE 9.1pro and use either a wireless or lan connection for internet with the XP. I am using a 3Com wireless card in my laptop. What do I have to do to get the wireless card to work when in Suse? When I check the network cards installed it says that I have a 3Com WLAN card installed but not configured, so what do I need to do to get it to work thanks......john

Ooh, here's a tricky one. I fear I won't be of too much help here, but here goes nothing:
If you don't have the drivers installed, you need to find out its chipset to know what drivers to get. The drivers will usually contain instructions on how to install 'em.
If it's instaled but not configured, it sounds like theres a chance you actually have the drivers working.

In that case, go to YaST > Network Devices > Network Card

Select your card from the menu and click Configure. Make any necessary changes (look under all the buttons - make sure there are no dialogs you've missed) and OK it through.

If you're lucky, it'll work!
