Which version of Suse does Novell Linux Desktop use?
 
I was browsing this forum and I found a thread listing different possible sources for Yast, but I do not know which version of Suse NLD uses. Does anyone know?

it doesn't "use" any version of suse, it just shares a laregely common codebase. NDL is about as different to suse 9.1 as 9.2 or 9.0 is.

Does that mean I cant use the same update sources and stuff? What about programs written for Suse? Will those work too?
