When amaroK jumps to next track, volume automatically increases (kmix)

Hi folks

Okay, basically when listening to music in amaroK, and a track is finished and it goes to the next one, the sound level increases automatically to a very high level, and I can't get around this -- and it's extremely annoying since I listen using earphones.

However, this doesn't happen when I use Banshee.

The program I'm using the change the volume level is KMix.

Does anyone know how I can get around this?

Thanks
