What provides rpmlib(PayloadIsLzma)?
 

I am installing kdmtheme in SLED 10 and it requires rpmlib(PayloadIsLzma) be installed. What rpm do this library
belong?

I'm also in need of this rpmlib(PayloadIsLzma) thing.

It's mysteriously absent from any rpm search pages I look at, including those listed in this thread.

Has anyone got a clue what this is about? It's listed as a requirement for the xorg-x11-libXp packages here, but information on it is pretty sparse.

Have you tried to install kdmtheme from the openSUSE build service? The rpmlib(PayloadIsLzma is used on older packages. I think if you install the latest version from the build service of the package you want, you'll avoid this dependency. And the one click install will resolve dependencies for you.

I got the package where this library is include. I just updated my package manager and solved the dependency.

The RPM package has it.

I too experience this, however I'm running on CentOS 5.3 and pkg 'rpm' does not include this nor do any of the associated rpm packages (in CentOS). I do understand that this is an "older package" issue but I have to have the megacli tools on this server which requires this. Any thoughts?

I am running PCLinuxOS and ran across the same dependency requests. How I ended up resolving this issue on my machine was by way of '7-zip' (running under wine). I extracted the contents of the rpm in question (the one which gave the deps error) with 7-zip. The rpm's directory structure was retained. I simply went through 'manually' installing all included files to their proper places within the directories. I then had to check that the excutables that were placed within the bin folder were marked as 'executable' within the file's property dialog.

Hopefully this will resolve your problem. The only files within the rpm that did not fully deflate from lzma were the files that went in the man1 dir. No problem though once these were individually deflated before they were put to rest in their proper dirs.
