What am I do do? What am I2C?

How do I find the version of I2C I have? I'm running SuSE 9.2 Pro.

Use this command:
rpm -qi I2C

It doesn't show that I2C exists. I know it's there since I have the 2.6.24-default kernel (if memory serves me right). I've also tried looking through the modules and their files but nowhere could I find a version number.
