WEP internet access in openSuse 10.3
Hi, I am still a bit new to Linux. I installed OpenSuse on my old Pentium 3 machine, but it does not get internet on it. Some users at another forum suggested that I get ndiswrapper, which I did and installed the windows driver with the help of an article on the Tux Magazine website. However, it is still not connecting to the internet. Yes, ndiswrapper is loading with the OS. I had my setting at passphrase for the ecryption key. My router requires a WEP password to get on the internet. The desktop environment of my version of openSuse is gnome, so KDE solutions may not work (such as things like opening konqueror or dolphin). When I look at iwconfig, it says invalid encryption under wlan0. What solution do you recommend for me to try? I already looked at similar threads but none mentioned ndiswrapper or the version of openSuSe being 10.3.
