wastebin questions

im using openSuse 10.2, is there any way of limiting the maximum size the wastebin can get to? so that it automatically empties it when it gets to full?

And is there any option to stop files that are on another hard drive from been put in the waste bin, or put them into a seperate wastebin, as sometimes it takes ages to delete an item because it is been transfered to the waste bin which lies on my other harddrive.

Thanks for any help.

Lightbulb The Trash Can is just another Folder in your home/desktop

I don't have an answer for you except, did you know you can elect to use the Edit/Delete command as opposed to selecting "Move to Trash". The difference is that using the Delete option does not place them in the Trash Can and can be used anywhere if you have the right to also Move the file to the Trash can. At least large files go away in an instant.

Thank You,

yeah i have been using delete to get rid of most of the files, but i'd prefer to find a solution where i dont need to. Can you use a quota on the wastebin?
