vmware server can't find C header fjiles

I am trying to get VMware server up and running. When I run -config.pl I get to a point where it wants to know where the C Header files are. I have read enough posts to realize that for this step to work, I must have the Kernel-source installed. When I attempt this through Yast by checking "kernel-source", I get the following conflict: "this would invalidate atom:kernel-source ......". Any suggestions? I am running "open SUSE 10.2".

install the kernel-devel, that should do the trick for you.

I still get the same error message when I try to install "devel_kernel".

I finally figured it out myself. I had to force Yast a URL source instead of the local DVD.
