vmware install problem

Trying to install vmware 5.0 on my Suse 10 AMD 64 the installation stops at the end of the license agreement not giving me the option to accept the conditions. This happens in the terminal window when scrolling down the agreement text on the last line.Could this be a problem with the console settings.

Thanks for any help

Dave

Download and install the newly released VMware-workstation-5.5.0-18463.i386.rpm from VMware. You can use wget to get the file from <http:>//download3.vmware.com/software/wkst/filename

Sorry for the crypt but I'm not allowed to post URL's until I meet the 5 post min. first.

I had the same problem when I installed it as well. I think the random punching of keys got me out of it. Also, I think maybe I tried another terminal, i.e. yakuake instead of konsole, but can't remember. Keep trying, you can get around it.

At the end of the license I believe you type "q" (without the speech marks) then yes or no to accept or decline the license.

It's a little while since I did this but it is documented somewhere on the VMWare site and is not a fault of the console.

Yes, it is the "q" key.
