Using krdc with encryption

Hello,

When I am using krdc on Suse, the 'enable encryption' is always greyed-out. Am I supposed to setup a VNC tunnel over ssh between the VM on my workstation to the server I am trying to connect to? (That seems clunky to me if I have to do that for every one).

When you Click on the ? and hover it over that... it says only newer servers support that option. Well, I am trying to connect to a ML570G4, a ML370G2 etc. which are fairly recent servers.

I'm using SuSE SLES and OES.

Thank you,

I think the point is you need the latest version of the krdc server on the remote end.

krdc

When I log in the terminal screen I see the following messages from krdc:

VNC server supports protocol version 3.130 (viewer 3.3)
No authentication needed
