USB unmounting

My system has no problem recognising and automaticly mounting different USB-Devices.

Byt when i right-click the device and press unmount (i use gnome) i get an errormessage saying "device not in fstab and you are not root"

Anyone know how to solve this?

using the command line you could su to root and then unmount manually, for example:

$ su
# umount /media/usb???

see the man page for umount options
