Upgrade to KDE3.5 beta for SUSE
I have a tarball file to upgrade the "unstable" KDE 3.5,
offcourse, i do not need it direly,
anyway, is it "risky" to do so, may it CRASH my whole SUSE?::eek:

KDE 3.5 is still beta software meaning that it may not work properly on your system and it could be full of bugs, so try it at your own risk. I have installed it on a test partition and while its quite useable, it still has a lot of bugs that need sorting out.

You should always ask yourself what benefit you would get from an upgrade. Look at the changelog for this. If you cannot identify something you REALLY need and don't want to risk your working installation, then don't install it. You should be able to handle possible errors by searching, reading, tweaking etc. mostly yourself before doing this.
