Cool Upgrade Question

If I have Suse Linux 9.2 personal (NOT professional) what do I need to purchase to upgrade to 9.3 professional?

There may be some unofficial free sources of 9.3. To purchase from Novell there is both a full and upgrade package available. Upgrade costs about $59.99. It includes the same DVD's and CD's as in the full package. It also includes a paperback version of the Administrator's manual. The distro can be used for new install or upgrade -- follow the menu items.

Suse did not make a personal version for 9.2 do you mean 9.1 or the 9.2 ftp version.

Oops yea you are right... 9.1.

I was hoping an upgrade might fix some of these hardware detection issues I have been struggling with on my IBM T30 thinkpad....

Laptop hardware support is supposed to be much improved in version 9.3, but you might want to check the hardware database at http://cdb.novell.com/?LANG=en_UK to see how well your particular hardware is supported.
